Triking around Bath

Here are a couple of recent video's from family rides around Bath, Somerset.

(taken from YouTube description)

First the Two Tunnels route - This is Jayne's Birthday wish - to go for a ride somewhere nice. The Autumn colours where spectacular. From the Stables on the outskirts of Wellow
what3words.com/hillside.trend.functions That seems to be blocking the line of the former railway over a viaduct, forcing those travelling in the opposite direction abruptly onto the road. We follow the path of the former Somerset and Dorset joint railway, through two tunnels, one of which, Combe Down Tunnel, is just over a mile long. I have included the full mile once in this video. Our turning point in Bath was just before the former line deposited us onto local shared roads, in Linear Park. what3words.com/square.locate.goods

We also took a really nice ride along the Kennet and Avon Canal path.

We start this ride from the Canal and River Trust carpark in Bradford-on-Avon, ( https://what3words.com/intensely.inefficient.hamsters ) following the Kennet and Avon Canal path across Avoncliff what3words.com/lurching.pirates.civil and Dundas what3words.com/allow.bridge.window Aqueducts. the choice of starting point being due to concerns about how busy Alice's 1st choice for parking was going to be. Brassknocker Basin car park being closer to home and there being more amenities there. She can also park her van there. As it was, when we arrived at the Basin on route, the car-park didn't look too busy, and disabled parking would have been free, unlike B-o-A. There is a restaurant - The Anglefish, and loos, next to the former coal canal offshoot. This detour is recorded in the video. This is a long-form "Slow TV" edit, with my hope for it to be used as moving wallpaper. My 1st edit of this footage was all the ride (just the stops edited out), and that was just short of two hours non stop riding. So this is half of that, edited down. But still enough to experience the beauty of moving through nature alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal, in HD ( make sure the quality settings is cranked as high as possible). We do follow the Canal path on past Dundas Aqueduct towards Bath. But due to range limitations of some, and the need for a pee, We turned back in order to use the facilities at Brassknuckle Basin. Also not so happy about riding the Canal path at night. This is an autumnal ride, natures colours are beautiful at this time of year. Three Insta 360 cameras used. Alice's Insta 360RS (Bike), Jayne has our Insta360 X5 (Red Trike), while I have a Insta360RS with a 1 Inch lens (Blue Trike). Two of our camera mounts failed during the filming, fortunately both cameras have lens guards.
